Frequently Asked Questions
When can I start Mums & Bubs Pilates after having a baby?
Most mums can begin exercising after receiving medical clearance from their GP, obstetrician or midwife. We also recommend a physiotherapy assessment before joining class to ensure your return to exercise is safe and appropriate for your recovery.
Do I need a physiotherapy assessment before attending?
Yes. If you are new to Cadence, we require a postnatal physiotherapy assessment before your first class. This allows us to assess your pelvic floor, abdominal recovery and overall readiness for exercise.
Can I bring my baby to class?
Absolutely. Our Mums & Bubs classes are designed for mums to attend with their babies. Babies and toddlers are welcome, however children remain under parent supervision at all times.
What if my baby cries or needs feeding during class?
That's completely normal. Our classes are designed with the realities of motherhood in mind. You're welcome to pause, feed, settle or change your baby whenever needed.
